Krystyn is a Certified Financial Planner, Certified Executor Advisor and a graduate of Fanshawe College’s Professional Financial Services program (with honours). She joined Schilling Financial in 2019 and is now stepping into the role of Lead Planner where she will continue to grow the business and help more families navigate important financial and lifestyle decisions. Being dual-licensed in both investments and insurance allows Krystyn to create personalized financial plans to fit the unique goals and circumstances of her clients. Krystyn’s focus is on creating and implementing financial plans that are tax-efficient and maximize her client’s ability to enjoy what they have worked hard to earn. 

In addition to her accolades and industry experience, Krystyn brings a unique perspective to her client relationships.  With over 10 years in hospitality and a degree in Psychology from the University of Ottawa, Krystyn helps her clients navigate the financial and emotional transitions that come along with their journey through retirement. 

Krystyn currently lives in Peterborough with her spouse Jeff, and her son Brodie. She is an avid traveller, skier and hiker. These are passions that grew both here in Peterborough and from many years living in Banff. When not enjoying the outdoors, Krystyn can be found baking and creating beautiful floral arrangements (she’s also a certified florist).
